The festival will be a sustainable and interactive experience with continuous live music on two stages centered in a large natural amphitheater, curious
vendors, interactive experiences, LED light show, late night shows, and camping on site including a kid's camp.
The Idaho-Down is an effort to support our regional musicians and to help them build relationships with national artists, as well as bring increased tourism to Adams and Valley County. The infrastructure for the event will be sustainable and lessen the social, ecological, and economic impacts on our community.
*NEW NEWS!*The Idaho-Down has been selected as a pilot project for the Council for Responsible Events Certification Program.
Much like the US Green Building Council’s LEED Certification program we will attain credits for measures that we
take in reducing our waste, lessening our impact on energy and climate, reducing our materials used, and community
and outreach. Based on the credits The Idaho-Down will be certified, silver, gold, or platinum.
In addition, we will be teaming up with the Idaho Wildlife Federation, launching their Idaho Matters Campaign
having an educational booth, as well as a carbon offset project within the community. The projected carbon output
for the event will be calculated, and trees will be planted in McCall and New Meadows to offset the impacts of the
Idaho-Down on our community. The Idaho Wildlife Federation will also be the beneficiary for the event!

Joseph Israelwith Special Guest: Oren B
“Mixing Rock, Jazz, and Folk to a Rockers Reggae Bass, Joseph Israel is
a musician who knows the past with an eye on the future.” Relix Magazine
Jan 2008 “Message Music delivered with the energy of youth and a Faith
that eschews all boundaries.” Beat Magazine Vol.26, 2007 May 20th, 2008.
The name, Israel, is a reflection that
defines Joseph’s striving for the blessings of the Almighty YHWH
(pronounced ‘Yahweh’). This is the name intended for all peoples, tribes
and tongues that love the Most High and love their neighbor. These are
the teachings of Rabbi Yahshua of Nazareth the Messiah. This is what he
is a part of. We are all one family. Joseph is truly blessed to have
been surrounded by a deep sense of appreciation for all cultures as a
youth. Born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Joe and Jean Ann Fennel, Israel was
exposed to the works and writings of history makers like Martin Luther
King Jr. His father and Uncle were also huge fans of reggae music and
traveled often to Jamaica.

Equaleyes
"Classifying this band seems difficult at best. They are a little bit of rock, sauteed in a little bit of country, garnished with funk with sprinkles of pop!"- The Clarion-Denver, CO.
"From the first few notes, it becomes obvious that this band knows what they're doing on stage. One song flowed smoothly into the next, stirring up great enthusiasm in the audience."
Formed as a power trio in early 2006, Equaleyes began touring through Idaho, Utah & Colorado with a blend of rock, pop, funk & bluegrass.
They believe in using the power of music to enhance the quality of life in communities across the globe.

masters of the modern day craft of
progressive-electro-trance-fusion, executed with Colorado Jam Rock
enthusiasm” (Tonglen). In 2007 Yamn’s members joined together in
Breckenridge, Colorado. Soon after the guys hit the road to do what
they are most passionate about, play live shows and create an
atmosphere for concert-goers exuding freedom and creativity.

Holden Young Trio
Holden Young went to Berklee College of Music after growing up in
rural Maine. His knowledge of music was limited but his ambition
was tenfold that of most his peers. Because he began so green,
Berklee became a full 4-year schooling in all aspects of music. His
focus became world music (especially Afro-beat, Reggae, Brazilian,
and Eastern Indian music) and guitar performance.
"While Fela Kuti tops the list of Young’s songwriting influences,
you’re more likely to hear the grooves of James Brown, John McLaughlin
and extended improvisations of the contemporary jam scene,
reminding me of The Disco Biscuits with less synth electronica.
These three players have grown tight from consistent touring through the West and Northwest."
~Davis, Jackson Planet

and wah wah pedals. Combined with chilling vocal harmonies,
beatboxing and looping, the sisters are able to fill the stage
with an organic progressive folk sound that has been moving
audiences since 2005.

Jonathan Warren The Billygoats
Progressive PsychoBilly Folk Grass. What is it? It's a goat
chewing on a can, it's a cat scratching at your door, its foot
stomping music that makes you want to drink a beer and eat a
biscuit. It's music that makes you jump up and down, and wake up
humming in the morning. It's tunes that stick in your bones like
peach cobbler. It's new timey, post retro, pre apocolyptic,
south appalachian, gypsy folk rock.

Gizzard Stone
Their style is a direct reflection of the band's diverse musical interest.
This band can polka, jazz it up, rock it out, and then play a bluegrass tune, and have been known to do it all to the same song, just for a laugh and a challenge. By far,
their most marketable quality is they simply enjoy what they do, and it shows. And the fun that
Gizzard Stone has on stage, translates back to the audience.

Corn Mash
Corn Mash is the Moscow, ID based project of singer/songwriter
Bill LaVoie. Originally formed in Seattle in 2003, the band has
undergone several makeovers and enjoyed success for several
years based out of wild Missoula, MT. The music is a mix of
mostly original rock, swing, blues, country, punk, funk, and
bluegrass. But even though all music is fun to play, there's
nothing quite like rock with rippin' ho downs in the mix. Tight,
loose, and loud. Sweet. Subject matter? Cynical, glorious,
angry, sweet, dirty, absurd…….basically, it’s diverse music for
the brain and the booty with live shows heavily geared towards
the booty.

Soul Serene
Soul Serene is a Rock/Pop/Reggae Band that hails from Boise, ID.
The original music of Soul Serene is energetic and explosive, yet
smooth and sometimes psychedelic. The music is influenced by the likes
of The Beatles, Bob Marley, Jimi Hendrix, and Bob Dylan. Soul Serene
sounds like Sublime, Dispatch, Pearl Jam and the Stone Temple Pilots.
The band loves to throw a few familiar covers into the mix also;
sometimes playing them in a traditional style and sometimes Soul
Serene adds a fresh new twist.
